Our Values
Dr Chao-Chen Chen built this practice by delivering compassionate and comprehensive dental care to all his patients. Building relationships with the patients, allowing them to entrust him with their needed care is the cornerstone of our dental practice. Now taken over by his son, Dr Jonathan Chen, this philosophy continues to be the core of our growing clinic.

Chao-Chen Chen
Dr. Chao-Chen Chen is the well-loved founder of Ideal dental clinic. With over 30 years’ experience in dentistry under his belt, Dr. Chen has always took pride in providing first-rate treatment to his patients by exercising both great technical skills and genuine concern for their well-being – a great mission and philosophy heartily sustained by his son Dr. Jonathan Chen and embodied by every team member of the Ideal dental practice.
Jonathan Chen
Dr. Jonathan Chen, B.Sc. D.M.D. is the principal dentist and owner of Ideal dental clinic. He is well known for his gentle and efficient approach. After completing his Doctorate in Dental Medicine with special merits in implant surgery at the University of Montreal, led by enthusiasm for advanced surgery, Dr. Chen went on to further hone his surgical skills at the prestigious Esparza Enclosed Implant Training Centre in Columbia. He is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).
Crystal Foung
Dr. Foung has a diversity of experience working in hospital, community, and general dentistry. She’s worked as a member of the McGill Outreach Clinic program providing dental care and promoting oral health to the underserved in Montreal. Dedicated to clinical advancement and excellence, Dr. Foung also devoted time to research and promotion as a facilitator and investigator for oral health programs in elementary schools as commissioned by the EMSB.
Francis Tassé
Dr. Francis Tassé received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at University of Montreal then went on to complete two multidisciplinary residencies in New York at the Montefiore Medical Center and Columbia University ‘s New York Presbyterian Hospital. Led by his passion for advanced surgery, he then completed an internship in oral maxilla-facial surgery at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center, a hospital affiliated with New York University.
